New Political Alliance to solve the great
problems of Venezuela
From the Caribbean Sea with its strength and
harmony, in the Island of Margarita and for all Venezuela, the SB Welfare
Society is born, a political alliance that seeks to add individuals, political
institutions and other organizations of society in the common objective of
presenting solutions to the great problems of the country and create a
successful electoral platform to establish a successful government. We propose
a great alliance because in Venezuela no group individually, with its own
strength, has the capacity to modify the difficult reality of the country. It
could only be achieved by a broad coalition between political, economic, social
sectors and the most important and influential institution in the country.
Moral and ethical
The basis of support of SB Welfare Society
is ethics and morals as fundamental values of political action and on that
foundation its Government Program is built.
2. Bases of the Welfare Model
The essential bases of the Welfare Model
are: i) Full employment of the factors of production: capital, natural
resources and labor ii) Guarantee health services for all citizens iii) Free
education in all instances of the educational level iv) Fair wages and
pensions and guarantee of retirement and old-age pensions v) Security of people and property.
3. Government Program Priorities
a) Establishment of a strong government that
truly respects citizens' rights and enforces laws.
b) Deep transformation of society through
the formation of new patterns of collective behavior to promote respect for the
right, laws, rules of family and social behavior, especially in automotive
traffic and in community life; the protection of nature and the environment,
promoting the fight against various forms of pollution, annoying noise and
violence; the promotion of health, productive work, the fight against inflation
and speculation through large educational campaigns in the media and instances
of the education system. The progress of Venezuela and its transformation into
a society of well-being thus depends essentially on what is done regarding the
formation of new patterns of collective behavior and that is why it occupies a
privileged place in the order of priorities of the National Development Plan that
we propose.
c) Never again a Venezuelan without food and medicine must be the Great National Goal. The economic recovery of the country,
which implies the full use of its resources: a) its productive capacity, b) its
natural resources and c) the work of its citizens in a market economy with
order that guarantees well-being. The center of the economic program is the
stability of the currency whose devaluation continues in the last 35 years and
especially since 1999 has been the main cause of the ruin of the country and
that no government has been able to resolve in all that long period of time.
The basic proposal in this area is the creation of the Bolivar Gold equivalent
1 to 1 to the dollar and prices and wages equivalent also to the dollar, which will achieve the same effects of dollarization while
preserving the country freedom and sovereignty as a nation. The existence of a
currency of its own is one of the essential characteristics of a free and
independent nation and therefore we propose the creation of the Bolivar Gold.
The stability of the currency with the creation of the Bolivar Gold will end
inflation and hyperinflation, will allow the recovery of material production
and services because it will give security in its operations to the productive
sectors, will contribute to the full employment of workers as well as to the
establishment of better wages and decent pensions to meet the essential needs
of citizens.
The creation of the Bolivar Gold currency
equivalent to 1 to 1 the dollar as we propose in Venezuela was a successful
experiment in hyperinflation situations such as the one experienced in
Argentina in times of convertibility and that suffered by Brazil that later gave
way to the creation of the new currency the Real. Venezuela should not be an
exception and the Bolivar Gold equivalent to 1 to 1 dollar must also be
successful in the framework of a new economic policy of free market and breadth
towards international investment. The other major objective is to avoid as much
as possible the indebtedness of the country in foreign currency, the external
debt, which has been one of the main causes of the great debacle of Venezuela
today and instead we propose to renegotiate the existing debt in the best
possible conditions and promote national and foreign investment as a source of
resources for development instead of acquiring new debts for the nation.
d) Reactivate and expand material
production, especially oil, gas, petrochemicals and electricity, recover food production,
basic industries in Guyana, private industry at all levels, public and private
services and the now abandoned productive and social infrastructure of water,
electricity, gas, hospitals and public and private health centers, educational
centers, roads and public transport. The full employment of workers is an
essential priority of the Government Program and for this, emphasis will be
placed on those activities that generate the greatest demand for workers and
the establishment of new forms of production and full use of productive infrastructure
and production time as the Double Working Day and the Half Working Day. For the
achievement of the aforementioned objectives, it is essential to coordinate the
State with the factors of production, that is, organized entrepreneurship and
the institutions of workers who must be active participants in the entire
national planning and production process. Essential measures are: Formulate the National Energy Plan that contemplates forms of cooperation with the world's major oil, gas, petrochemical and electricity companies; Opening to international banks to install their branches in the country and thus provide technology and financial resources; Formulation of the National Agricultural Plan; Formulation of the National Industrial Plan; Opening to the great global supermarket chains; Creation of the Investment Fund with resources from oil, Fund of untouchable capital whose interests will be dedicated to strengthening the country's International Reserves and generating more wealth.
e) A new education: Venezuela in recent
years has lost its educational system, so it is necessary to re-establish it
and create new alternatives that allow to properly articulate the educational
system to production by reactivating technical schools so that the student can
achieve in the minor possible time training for work at the expert and
technical levels. Education, in addition to training for work, must be an ideal
instrument for citizen education.
f) Strengthening of the National Armed
Forces to fulfill as efficiently as possible their mission to protect the peace
and security of the country.
g) Determined fight against crime; deep
reorganization of judicial and public security institutions.
h) Institutional reforms: New Constitution and adaptation of laws to
create a true Welfare Society. The new Constitution must: i) Ratify the Principle of absolute and inalienable ownership of the subsoil and its resources by the State ii) Retrieve the name of República de Venezuela iii) Restore the Bicameral
Congress as in the great democracies of the world iv) Limit the presidential
re-election to one (1) period to guarantee the fundamental principle of
democracy of the alternation of power v) Guarantee the strengthening of the
National Armed Forces, ensure the welfare and social security of its members
and eliminate the vote because it implicitly involves the institution in
partisan activity vi) Establish profound changes that allow adapting criminal
legislation to ensure an effective fight against crime such as life
imprisonment for certain crimes.
i) A sovereign international policy without surrender to any nation or foreign power.
4. Why does SB arise?
SB Welfare Society was born to respond to
the great tragedy of Venezuela that ended the country's independence, economy,
production, salary, public health services, education, electricity, water,
transportation, roads and, most importantly, destroyed the ethical and moral
reserves generating hopelessness and the emigration of a good part of the
population.
The United Nations Organization believes
that Venezuela is experiencing a humanitarian crisis comparable only to major
world tragedies such as Yemen and Syria. It is a situation with important
strategic implications due to the participation of the great world powers of
the United States, Russia and China and other countries such as Iran, Cuba,
North Korea and radical groups of Colombia and its guerrilla and Arab groups
with direct interests in the subject.
5. A center political alliance
In Venezuela, two different visions of the
world are confronted: on the one hand the heirs of communism including the
Colombian guerrillas and Islamic extremism and, on the other, the democratic
conception of the West and the traditional economic ideas of international
organizations. SB Welfare Society is a third alternative, national, Venezuelan,
different from those two extremes, a political center alliance whose main
objective is to open a new space for consultation and meeting to solve the great
and serious problems of Venezuela.
6. Conclusion
In short, it is about building an efficient
democracy and a strong government capable of effectively fighting crime in all
its forms, a market economy with order and a welfare model driven by a true cultural
change of the population through the creation of new patterns of collective
behavior; a dignified foreign policy that guarantees respect for Venezuela as a
sovereign and free nation, a consistent and coherent project where different
policies harmonize with each other and do not contradict each other.
